Sydney

I love to see great value fares to Australia and these are up there amongst the best I’ve seen for a long time. These really are terrific value for money and I strongly recommend you book them fast as at these prices they’ll be gone in a few days.

China Southern are a solid airline to fly with. They have a 4-star rating and their service has improved massively over the last few years. I flew with them around 5 years ago and had a great flight (a lot better than any of the North American airlines I’ve flown with…).

All of these flights have a connection in Guangzhou in each direction. Some of the connections are overnight, which is a great way to break up a long journey. China Southern offer free hotel accommodation for many long connections, full details are here.

You may see slightly cheaper prices at the top of the search results for flights that have 2 connections. I recommend you ignore these and scroll down to the flights with one connection. They’re only £5-£10 more expensive for a much easier journey.

How to Find and Book This Deal

1. Click the relevant Google Flights button in the list below. In Google Flights click the ‘from’ date to see a calendar of prices. Look for dates with the lowest prices. You can change the length of your trip in the bottom left corner of the calendar.

2. Click the relevant Momondo/Kayak/Skyscanner button below (I link to the cheapest one for each search). Search using the dates you found in Google Flights and book with an online travel agency. The prices should be cheaper here but if they’re not go back to Google Flights and book from there. Why are flights cheaper via Momondo/Skyscanner?

For more in depth instructions about finding the deals take a look at my article How to use Google Flights and Momondo/Skyscanner/Kayak to find the deals.
